Reyna Symonds

Mrs.Symonds is and recently retired from Corporate America because she knew there was a need to help her people in a world that was continually stunting our growth in education and generation wealth. Mrs. Symonds has over twenty years of strong technical, analytical experience and successfully managing people
and projects. She is a Leader with a reputation for accomplishing projects on or before the expected deadlines. She obtained a AA in Computer Science and a BS in accounting from Johnson & Wales University. Mr.s Symonds has extensive Accounting, Financial & Tax Audit experience. She has Developed and managed compliance departments, and strategic consulting, including business plans and strategy development of software implementation.
Project Director
Timothy Stewart Jr.
(Mashantucket Pequot, Seaconke Wampanoag)
Mr. Stewart works with Program Development Coordinator to collect data related to all of TYECs programs, including statistics of numbers served, services provided, client demographics, and program outcomes. He is also responsible for the development and submission of quantitative and qualitative program performance. Mr. Stewart is a Mashantucket Pequot/ Seaconke Wampanoag and has experience in working with individuals in need, managing databases, and tracking program outcomes. Most recently, he worked in a
variety of roles at the Judge Rotenberg Center in Canton, MA supporting individuals with developmental disabilities, emotional disorders, and autistic-like behaviors.
Program Development Coordinator
Sandra Symonds
Sandra Symonds originally from New York Lower East Side has a long history of working with youth from many different cultures. She has taught violence prevention to teen pregnancy prevention but most of all she has provided these youth with support and a safe environment where they could nurture their interest and grow into strong and successful individuals. Mrs. Symonds ensures that all TYEC program initiatives are implemented successfully. She also provides direct support services to TYEC clients and ensures that clients are receiving the necessary skills and certifications needed to succeed in the program. Mrs. Symonds has over 20 years of experience working with youth and the elderly by providing community-based services to improve their home and community lives. Most recently, she worked in a variety of roles at the Federal Hill House in Providence, RI, providing case management, emergency services, and program coordination for seniors, youth, and community members in need.
Intern
Ariana Clark (Muscogee)
Ariana is an enrolled member of the Muscogee Nation, a senior at Brown University double concentration in Critical Native American and Indigenous Studies and Computer Science, and was born and raised in Western Massachusetts.

She started working with IYEC during the summer of 2023 to help with the youth summer programming. Since then, she has taught lessons in Traditional Ecological Knowledge, beading, frybread cooking, and financial literacy.

In the fall, Ariana will help run the after-school tutoring program in collaboration with Native Americans at Brown (NAB) and will assist in powwow dance lessons.
